Frequently Asked Questions

What is a hypnosis or hypnotic state?

Hypnosis is a very natural state that you experience every day. Hypnosis is like daydreaming, a meditation-like state or a trance where you are inwardly focused and experience enhanced concentration. During hypnosis, you will feel very relaxed and calm.

You are also highly suggestible, but please be assured, no one can be hypnotised if they don’t want to.

Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness. That means that people are treated in hypnosis and not with hypnosis.

Hypnosis allows you to access your subconscious mind where you are able to delve deep into your feeling, beliefs and thoughts, that influence your life and make sense of all of them with the critical mind. Everything that you feel and experience during a hypnotic session is part of you already. Hypnotherapy enables you to create a conscious change in the form of new beliefs, behaviours, new patterns, ideas and feelings.

My job as a hypnotherapist is to help you to convince yourself that you can be someone or do something that you are already capable of doing.

How long RTT session last?
RTT session last on average from 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure that you book at least 2 hours of your time.
Where the sessions take place?
At this point, most sessions take place over Zoom or Skype. In-person sessions are available (subject to prior agreement).
How does the RTT session look like?
RTT session consists of three main stages. The first stage is called induction, where I will put you to a very deep, relaxed state. This is where you can access your subconscious mind. Our place of work.
The second stage, regression, is where you will go back in time to events, places or scenes that are directly linked to the root cause of your issue. You will interpret them all over again.
The last, third stage, is called transformation where you will make sure that new beliefs are there to stay in your life. This is where you will notice changes in your reality, positive changes in how you feel.
During this stage, you will listen to the recording that I will provide to you after the session. It is very important that you will listen to that recording for at least 21 days. On average, this is how long it takes to fire and wire new connections in our brain.
Will I be in control during the session?
Absolutely. You are fully in control during the RTT session.
How long will it be before I see and /or feel changes in myself?
Everyone is different so we all experience the sessions differently. There are three main ways that you can experience changes.
Immediate change.
You could experience instant changes during the session about how you feel and behave.
Gradual change.
It is a cumulative change. Moment by moment you notice small changes in how you feel and behave.
Retroactive change.
You will look back at a period of time and notice that you feel and behave differently. It may take weeks for you to notice the changes.
What if I go back to very painful or distressing scenes?
What is incredibly important to remember is that during hypnosis you re-view the scenes, not re-live them.
It is impossible for you to re-live those events. It will be like watching TV. I will be there with you the whole time and I will do my best to make sure that you feel safe and as comfortable as possible.
How many RTT session will I need?
RTT provides phenomenal results. Most people need one session in order to reach a lasting change in how they feel and behave.
Some clients may need up to three sessions in order to resolve their issue and reach that lasting change.
What makes RTT session so effective?
Rapid Transformational Therapy is so phenomenally effective because it reaches the very root cause of your issue while you are deep in your subconscious mind. In this state your brain functions in ALFA brain waves. It is a very natural state that you are in at least twice a day. Just after you wake up and right before you fall asleep.
